State Police Locker Room Recording

Those tasked with enforcing the law should not violate it.

An anonymous letter sent to various West Virginia elected officials levied series allegations of misconduct and wrongdoing against members of the West Virginia State Police.  The five-page letter includes accusations that the Deputy Director of the West Virginia Police Academy secretly recorded women in the women’s locker room at the West Virginia State Police Academy using a hidden camera, that State Troopers falsified overtime, used a “ghost account” for unauthorize purchases, and failed to report multiple crashes of State Police vehicles.

The West Virginia Department of Homeland Security and the Charleston, West Virginia office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation are both actively investigating these allegations.

If you have reason to believe you were secretly recorded in the women’s locker room at the West Virginia State Police Academy, please contact Atkinson & Frampton, PLLC today.
