Paul Frampton Sues WV Community College
Excerpt from the article:
Charleston Attorney Paul L. Frampton Jr. is representing four past employees who allege they were wrongfully terminated after speaking up against Alderman. Frampton said the claims are very serious and an example of workplace retaliation.
“Anytime someone loses their job, it’s a serious matter,” he said. “In this instance, we have at least four people who’ve lost their jobs in a way we believe was illegal.”
Frampton said, in these cases, the former college employees were punished for doing the right thing in their eyes.
“In each of these cases, these individuals brought to the attention of the authorities or boards, instances of misconduct or alleged misconduct which would constitute wrongdoing or waste under the whistleblower law,” he said. “In each case, because they voiced those concerns and brought them forward out of the shadows into the public, they lost their jobs.”
